Christmas in Colorado

This year for Christmas, we had a Harmon family reunion. It had been discussed for a while and this year it actually happened. With two groups of the three located in Colorado, we were able to make it a reality. It also helped that James was in the states this year :). Mike did the majority of the research to find a cabin that would suit our large group. The cabin worked out perfectly. There were 3 rooms, a sitting room with a hide a bed, a family room, living room, an open kitchen/dining room, 3 1/2 baths and 2 balconies to check out the view. Behind the house were stairs up to a gazebo and the perfect sledding hills for kids. We enjoyed sledding on this hill and also going into Rocky Mountain National Park to the sledding hill called Hidden Valley. The adults had a couple says of shopping. The kids enjoyed playing outside, video games, dancing, and just making memories. On Christmas Eve day, James did get pretty sick, but luckily it was a quick virus so he was feeling better by the evening. We sang Christmas carols by the tree, before opening our Christmas Eve gifts. Got to love Thunder pajamas for our family :). It was a wonderful five days with all the family.
