Logan was warming up before his game playing catch with dad. They were tossing it back and forth working on throwing technique. James would remind Logan to "Step and throw" to help give a bit more power to the throw. They practiced for a bit before Logan headed out to take his spot (at the pitcher's mound).
Aurora wanted to play catch with dad, so he tossed her the ball. She got it and as she prepared to throw it back, James reminded her to "step and throw" the ball. She had a quizzical expression on her face and then an "ah ha" look. She put the ball down on the ground, stepped on it, picked it up and threw it to James.
There is a girl who listens to directions.
