Busy, Busy

Logan knows how to keep us very busy with Scouts and baseball. Logan and James joined the scouts for a Zoo Snooze. It was a campout in the Zoo! (Aurora and I had a girl's night while boys went to the Zoo.) They had fun as they went on the evening train ride and then again at night. They saw different animals in the program the Zoo provided, such as snakes, bats, etc. They set up their tents and could hear the animals through the night. They arrived home early in the morning (had to be out before the gates opened for business) after stopping at McDonald's for breakfast.

Now on to baseball. Logan has had his first two games of the season. He did well hitting the ball and looked awesome running round the bases. We will be very busy for the next couple of months with long nights on Mondays and Tuesdays (won't be home till after 7:30) and Wednesdays and Thursday we will be going till about 6:30.

Logan posing for me "Did you get it?"

James has been enjoying being and "unofficial coach" (my words). He is out their on the field to help the team run bases, learn their spots, field balls, learn batting skills, etc. He is very positive as he encourages them and gives them pointers. He really enjoys working with the kids and helping to guide them become better ball players and kids :) I think the coaches (and other parents) appreciate his help.

  1. Glad the boys had a fun night with the animals! We are going to have some long nights here too with our ball season starting the middle of April! Tuesdays and Sats will be long for us! It is fun though! Both Jeff and I are coaching Jenna's team! Jackson moved up to the next league and they already had coaches! It will be fun! Can't wait to share some pics too!
