Super Bowl Weekend...Not so Super
It's the weekend, the most anticipated of the year (so far anyway, at least for football fans) it time for Super Bowl XL. Well, it was not so super for us. On Friday, it started off bad when Aurora got sick. Not so good, when we are going to pick up Daddy tonight. Well, Aurora is fine for the rest of the day. Yeah! Then comes Saturday, it's a lazy day. Only things on the agenda is taking Logan and Aurora to the park and going to see the Hornets play the Lakers. We had lots of fun at the park on the slides, swings, etc. When we got home, Logan got sick. We took the chance and got the babysitter with instructions to call should anything happen. Lo and Behold, we are almost there for the game, phone rings and logan needs us at home. We sell the tickets (in 2 seconds) and head back. Logan continues to get sick, so off to the ER. We think it will be a short visit, but it turns into a overnight stay (Logan needs IV fluids). (silverlining-James calls and lets me listen to the end of the Hornets game with the Hornets beating the Lakers 106-90...YEAH!!) I stayed with Logan and was strong during the many pokes it took to get blood and an IV in. Sunday, the big day, James calls in the morning. Aurora has now gotten sick again. So after seeing the doctor, we get discharged and head home. Logan goes in to take a nap, as does Aurora, so it's my turn too. Almost time to watch the Superbowl (and the commercials :)). Oh no, I get sick...blah! I end up missing most of the game. I guess it's a good thing that we didn't invite anyone over. oh well. Anyway, James did great at taking care of all of us sickos this weekend. Not exactly what he was anticipating. Here's to a much better week and looking forward to the Draft! Go RAIDERS!!
